The Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences is the institution of higher education in Croatia that offers study programs in the fields of education and rehabilitation sciences. Prevention researchers from the Department in hand have continuous collaboration with respected and appreciated researchers from Europe and USA. Special attention is given to the application and dissemination of a socio-emotional learning model in Croatian kindergartens and elementary schools which is really new and emerging field in Croatia. In EAP_SEL project, Department of Behavioural Disorders, will be in charge ofimplementation of SEL curriculum in classrooms of elementary schools.

Miranda Novak 2013 finished PhD programme “Prevention science: prevention of mental and behavioural disorders and promotion of mental health”, defended dissertation written in English „An empirical study on implementation quality in prevention programs“.
Research associate on several projects regarding PATHS preventive program, application and dissemination of a socio-emotional learning model in Croatian kindergartens and elementary schools, EU Science for Prevention Academic Network project, Croatian project “Communities that Care: development, implementation and evaluation of community prevention” as well as European Communities That Care project.
